Frances D'Arcy-Tehan

 


Frances has over 20 years' experience in the health sector and works as a counselling psychologist and clinical sexologist in Melbourne. She is a PhD Candidate at The University of Sydney. Her thesis is titled: Genital image and body image and sexual functioning in women. Frances anticipates her research will open-up a much needed dialogue to develop a better understanding of the concept of genital image within the socio-cultural context and how it effects women's sexuality. Frances recently submitted her paper titled: Genital image perceptions and attitudes towards female genital cosmetic surgery to the International Journal of Sexual Health.
