I am passionate about creating a society that accepts and celebrates sexuality, in all its weird and wonderful forms. The internet has provided us with perhaps the greatest challenge and the greatest solution to improving the sexual rights of everyone. I am particularly focused on providing inclusive, compassionate and relevant sexuality education to young people covering the issues they face every day; homogeneous and discriminatory messages in pornography, relationships and social media, sexting, consent, and identity. I am equally committed to making positive change within health and political systems to improve the sexual health of all people.

My research examined how young people perceived sexually explicit media as both a representation of reality and a useful source of information. This informed my practice, guiding the development of workshops for young people as well as their parents, and helping educators and families communicate openly about sexuality to reinforce the values that guide sexual ethics.
