Sexually adventurous gay men are more likely to engage in sexual risk behavior. Is this an individual characteristic or does it reflect participation in sexually adventurous networks?

A/Prof. Garrett Prestage

National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research, University of New South Wales, Paddington, NSW; Australian Research Centre in Sex Health and Society, La Trobe University, Melbourne, VIC. A/Professor Garrett Prestage has worked in socio-behavioural research, particularly among gay and bisexual men, for over thirty years. His work concerns sexuality, risk behaviour and sexual health, including HIV. He has strong relationships with gay community organisations and his work informs policy and programmatic responses.
