There is a close correlation between overall health and sex, with a few clear demonstrations of how sexual activity may have a negative impact on the health of the individual, but – and certainly more importantly – many others which outline how sexual health is linked with a better overall health of the person. Specifically, an increasing number of observations have pointed out to this correlation especially for the male gender; indeed, Erectile Dysfunction (ED), has progressively emerged as a sentinel marker of men’s overall health, gaining major relevance in the cardiovascular field.
