Arab physicians, in the Middle Ages, have played a considerable role in the field of medicine development as a whole and Sexology in particular. We went back to the most important medical textbooks available during the medieval ages, for tracing their writings on sexology.  Rhazes (al-Razi) was a famous physician and writer, whose medical writings greatly influenced the Arabic world as well as Western Europe. He devoted an important chapter in his encyclopedic medical book 'al-Hawi' (Continens) to talk about many aspect of sexology.
