Integrative models in female sexual disorders

Moshe Mock MD

The successful pharmacological treatment of erectile dysfunction in males has led to increasing interest in the causes and treatment of female sexual disorders (FSD). Women’s sexuality varies over the life cycle and sexual disorderscan affect up to  43% of women during their lives.  Because of the differences between male and female sexuality, pharmacotherapy treatment only ( Estrogen, Testosterone, PDE-5 i)  has been found to be very disappointing in the treatment of FSD
