What are we saying? A content analysis of educational materials on sex after stroke.

Natalie Hamam

Stroke can negatively impact on people’s sex lives. Currently the main, and sometimes only, form of intervention is the provision of educational brochures. But what do these resources say? Printable educational materials were previously un-evaluated in published research. The aim of this study was to identify, describe, and analyse printable educational materials on sexuality and stroke that are available online.

Recorded in October 2012 at the 13th ASSERT National Conference on:
'Sexuality: Beyond Difficulties, Definitions and Diversity', Melbourne, Australia.
