An Update on the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS).

P.J. Matt Tilley

The World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) is a membership organization of individual supporting members and organizations; consisting of regional, international, national, and academic bodies that work in the field of sexology. Established in 1978, WAS has been the pre-eminent global organization concerned with sexual health and rights. WAS works to promote sexual health for all people, and sees that sexual health is a goal not only for clinicians but a common goal of many disciplines. WAS has an equal emphasis on sexuality education, clinical sexology and sexual rights.

Recorded in October 2012 at the 13th ASSERT National Conference on:
Sexuality: Beyond Difficulties, Definitions and Diversity, Melbourne, Australia.
