Adjunct Associate Prof. Vivienne Cass

 


Dr Cass is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Public Health (Sexology Program), Curtin University (WA). Her work includes sexual difficulties, sexual offences, sexual abuse, sexual orientation and transgender issues. She developed the first course in Australia in psychosexual therapy at the University of Western Australia in 1978. She published her theory of gay and lesbian identity formation in 1979. In 2004 she published, "The Elusive Orgasm: a woman’s guide to why she can’t and how she can orgasm" and in 2011 she developed an iPhone/iPad app, titled, "Explore Women’s Sex".  Dr Cass is Director at Brightfire Press, Consultant clinical psychologist, Consultant sexual therapist/sexologist at Vivienne Cass pty Ltd.
